A
few years ago I suffered a blocked artery in my heart that
really got my attention. Only a few months before, I had successfully run
my first marathon (about 4 hours) and was feeling indestructible. Kind of.
Quite suddenly, really, I couldn't run more than two or three minutes without
feeling an extreme heaviness and foreboding weight affecting my chest. Heart
disease? Out of the question. I was just too fit and active. Then again,
now I wasn't. Test confirmed a narrowed artery, possibly caused by a month
long viral infection . My diet wasn't that good, either. Lots of fried
chicken, pork roast crackling, and a lot of sugar and caffein-filled
soft drinks. After a relatively simple operation which placed a stainless
steel "stent" in my heart, I realized my life needed to undergo
some drastic changes. The medication prescribed by my doctor took
away my libido, so I tossed it all into the trash can and started looking
for a way towards health through better eating.
Right away,
I cut out the pork crackling, the Kentucky Fried Chicken, and a lot of
the soft drinks. But my cholestrol levels still were high enough to
concern my doctors. Then, a friend introduced me to a wonderful supplement
called "Ambrotose" which is MLM marketed by a company called Mannatech.
I was very sceptical at first, because I had previously tried Usana
products and a couple of others which did not do noticeable good, and maybe
were borderline scams. Otherwise, why the heart problem? So I bought
some product. Within 15 minutes of taking my first taste, something started
happening right down in the pit of my stomach. I felt a strange warmth,
tingling, and excitement that I had never experienced before. Number 5
is Alive! I felt good, and I felt energized. A couple of weeks later I
woke up with red hands. Caught red-handed, I guess. I thought I was
having an allergic reaction to something! The penny dropped the second
or third day. This is what hands are supposed to look like!
That's real blood coursing through my veins, now. After a few
more weeks, I realized that my hands no longer became all numb and tingly
after driving for awhile. I was finally getting some good circulation
going! The long term results are equally fascinating. I can now play
competitive tennis for three or four hours with no fear or recurrence of the muscle
cramps that I used to get.
Now the
people at the Mannatech head office will pass on testimonial after
testimonial of people cured from one disease or another, even many
types of cancers. And they are probably all true. But supplementation
by itself is only one part of the healing process. From my own experience
sharing this product with others, some people do not notice any short term
results. Others experience amazing results. I guess it all depends upon what
your body needs. But you would be a fool not to give it a try. You may
very well be needing exactly what this product has to offer. I invite

I've
known the value of drinking lots of water for some time. Any athlete
knows that a dehydrated body is a loser; in every way! I've also known
that too much sugar throws my system (and my stomach) for a loop. What
I didn't know was how all that sugar, chocolate, cola, coffee, tea, and
caffein actually turned my system into an acidic death trap. The blood
needs to remain alkaline in order to maintain health and well-being.
And yet nearly all the water we drink is at least slightly acidic, and
most of the foods we eat are heavily acidic. And that's why we've got
so much obesity and disease associated with the western life
style. It doesn't have to be this way. I've started eating a whole lot
more raw fresh vegetables, drinking a lot of my own fresh carrot
juice, fresh-cut wheat grass juice, and cutting out most of the

even growing your own garden. It's called x2o Xooma (pronounced
"Zooma").
I t's a
simple water additive that supposedly converts your tap water into a super
alkalizing, highly mineralized, health giving energy drink that simply can
cover a whole lot of sins. They've got an affiliate program whereby you
can create income by sharing this information with others.
I've
noticed no special results from using this product. And their sign-up and
customer support system has failed me miserably. I no longer recommend the
product.
I
continue to use and recommend Ambrotose and other Mannatech products that
continue to give me great results in every area of my health.
And
my organic garden is giving me a whole lot of juicing products, such as carrot
tops, beet roots and tops, spinach greens, parsley, and silverbeet.
My
advice is, "Taste it before you juice it".
